Avoid traveling during Public Holiday or School Holiday ,where lots of local tourist during this period.

For those take flight from Kuala Lumpur ,must choose to landed at Kuala Terengganu Airport .Which are nearest Airport to Syahbandar Jetty .Only take 20 to 30 minute only by Aiport Taxi.
If you driving,parking space also available at Jetty. As minimum parking charge RM10 - RM15 per night per car.The parking space are limited.
Most resort will use Syahbandar jetty as main jetty to Redang Island ,such Laguna Redang Island Resort , Coral Redang Island Resort , Redang Beach Resort , Redang Bay Resort , Redang Reef Resort , Redang Lagoon Chalet , The Taaras Resort , Redang Island Resort and others. Ferry ride will take 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hour only .The ferry capacity will accommodate seat around 150 to 200 people. Fare is RM110 per person for return transfer or 2 ways. If you choosing Package,Boat transfer already included.
Only few resort still using Merang jetty as getaway to Redang Island such a Redang Pelangi Resort , Redang Mutiara Resort and Delima Redang Resort . Ferry ride will roughly 1 hour. For speed boat,will take 40 to 50 minutes only. Fast Boat will leave at 9.30am .
From Ex Syahbandar jetty to Redang Island,ferry are running by Sejahtera Ferry. Ferry depart at 9.00 am | 10.30am | 3.00pm
From Ex Redang Island to Syahbandar Jetty ,Kuala Terengganu ,ferry depart 7.00am | 11.00am | 1.00pm
If you from Redang Island to Merang jetty ,Fast Boat will depart at 8.30am and Arrive at Merang Jetty around 9.20am .Therefore you need to check out early around 8.00am .Depends on which resort you staying.
No ATM Machine and Bank service available at Redang Island,Its mean you need to bring cash money. Seem you choosing package,most of meals already included ,therefore no need to bring lots of cash. All Major credit card are accepted at Resort.
From Kuala Terengganu Airport to Merang jetty,by Airport Taxi or Shuttle Bus.Journey will take roughly 40 minutes only.
Higly advise for Early Morning Arrival at Kuala Terengganu Airport then you can take fast boat or ferry on time before 9.00am .
Food Court available selling local foods at Laguna Redang Island Resort. The price of foods are bit expensive compares other. Only available on 6.00pm on wards.
If you sick or unhealthy ,please inform to your resort . Only Laguna Redang Island Resort have doctor here.
Avoid to bring any expensive item such jewellery or other during your vaccation.
Underwater Camera available for rental ,please refer to receptionist and Dive Center.
Advise to buy dry beg as you can put all valueble belongs inside the beg. All item much more safe and can bring together.
If you take local bus from TBS Bus Terminal Kuala Lumpur during night bus,its recommend you choose late night bus departure from 11.00 pm on night and arrive at Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal around 5.30am
From Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal to Syahbandar jetty will take 15 minutes walking distance.Therefore no need to arrange transfer.
Snorkeling session will start at 9.30am and 2.30pm ,therefore you be ready at main hall 3o minutes briefing session. All Rental Mask not included with the package. Mask Rental will charge RM20 to RM25 for 3 Day 2 Night,then you need to pay at Resort. Fins are not allowed to use at Marine Park Pulau Pinang. You can use the fins at deep sea only. Please do not step in at Coral ,when you going to snorkeling.
If you dont know how to snorkeling,then you can ask instructor to teach and help you.
If you not happy with Instructor or they doing a nasty thing to you. Feel free to report at receiptionist as the management will take serious action.
Please print document such Hotel Voucher ,Invoice and others . During check in,you need to present the document.
Effective from 1st January 2017, Marine Park fees need to pay upon arrive at jetty. For Malaysian,fees is RM10.00 per person and Non Malaysian is RM30.00 per person.
For Mobile and Internet connectivity user at Redang Island ,the coverage is good .You can choose telecommunication provider such Celcom , Digi and Maxis .
Please make sure all rubbish will put inside rubbish bin.
If You want to walk during night,advise to bring own torchlight .
For Night activity ,you can see Blue Sand at front Redang Reef Resort .
Some resort will have night activity such Live Band and Disco .Its little bit nosiy but their activity will closed until 12.ooam .
